Motorola Moto E Dual 4G Briefly Listed by Online Retailer
Amidst the recent leaks for the successors of the Moto X and Moto G ahead of Motorola's event on Thursday, a new online retailer listing (now removed) points to the upcoming launch of the Moto E Dual 4G variant. The phone may be revealed soon at the IFA 2014 event in Berlin.
Briefly listed on Brazilian retailer Livraria Logos' website (spotted by GSMArena), the unannounced Moto E Dual 4G was featured a 'notify me' for interested customers - without a price.
The listing of the Moto E Dual 4G mentioned the same specifications as the originalMoto E (Review | Pictures), with the smartphone listed as running Android 4.4 KitKat, and sporting a 4.3-inch qHD (540x960 pixel) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and a pixel density of 256ppi.
The Moto E Dual 4G was listed with the same 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor coupled with Adreno 302 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
Motorola has not yet officially announced the Moto E Dual 4G, though it may do so at the company's pre-IFA 2014 event on Thursday.
The successor of the Moto G might also see the light of the day at the event. Earlier this week, the retail box of Moto G's next-gen variant showed up in a leaked image. According to the Facebook user who posted an image of the alleged Moto G successor's box packaging, the much-awaited device will be called "just the Moto G or maybe 'New Moto G'", as evinced by the Moto G branding on the box.
We cannot confirm the authenticity of the image or the retail box shown inside it, though if a previous leak is to be believed - the successor to the Moto G (Review |Pictures) has already been shipped to India, with more than 70,000 'Motorola Moto G XT1068' units shipped to India on August 30 according to listings on Indian import/ export website Zauba.
