Lava's new budget Iris 400Q will be up against the likes of some popular smartphones in the sub-Rs. 8,000 category such as the Asus ZenFone 4 A450CG, which went on saleby August-end via online retail partner Flipkart, priced at Rs. 6,999, and the well-likedMoto E, priced at Rs. 6,999 that did sell in the market like hot-cakes.
Earlier this week, Lava in a bid to cash-in on the selfie-trend launched the Iris X5 at Rs. 8,799. It will be exclusively available to purchase on Amazon India.
