Wickedleak Wammy Note 3 With Octa-Core SoC Launched at Rs. 12,990
Wickedleak has expanded its Wammy smartphone family and introduced the Wammy Note 3, priced at Rs. 12,990.
The newly launched Wickedleak Wammy Note 3 is currently up for pre-order, while will go on sale exclusively on the company's site starting September 1.
Notably, the new smartphone will also come in an AquaProtect version (optional), which will be water-resistant and will be available by paying an additional amount of Rs. 1,500 over the pricing of Wammy Note 3.
It's worth mentioning that the Wammy Note 3 sports a similar design to Samsung's flagship, the Galaxy S5. It also features a perforated rubber finish back panel, and has a similar form factor. The Wickedleak Wammy Note 3 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs the recent Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
It comes with a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display, which translates to a pixel density of roughly 424ppi. It also boasts of OGS (One Glass Solution) and Asahi's Dragontrail Glass, which is a scratch resistant protection.
The smartphone is powered by octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with Mali 450 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Wammy Note 3 comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD.
It sports a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with BSI sensor and LED flash. It also packs a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the Wammy Note 3 includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. There is no word on the battery capacity on the smartphone. It measures 142x72.5x8.1mm and will be available in Silk White and Dark Slate Black colour.
Earlier this month, Wickedleak rolled out Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Wammy Titan 3 Octa.
