Apple Sends Invitations for September 9 'iPhone 6 Launch' Event

Apple has sent out invitations for an event to be held on September 9 at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, California. In typical fashion, Apple has not said anything about what will be announced at the event, but has included the teaser "Wish we could say more". 

It is expected that the company will unveil its latest iPhone models, in keeping with its well-established pattern of launch announcements. Multiple leaks have tipped nearly everything about the device, from its size and shape to features and specifications, although the final product could still come as a surprise. Most leaks indicate that at least two new models will be launched; one with a 4.7-inch screen and one with a 5.5-inch screen.

A wearable device is also widely expected to be launched alongside the new iPhone models. News of the event was first reported by The Loop.
