MSI GS60 Ghost Pro Gaming Laptop Launched in India, Starts Rs. 1,16,235



The biggest difference between the three GS60 Ghost Pro configurations are the dedicated graphic cards. The GS60 2PE Ghost Pro features an Nvidia Geforce GTX870M / GDDR5 3GB GPU, the GS60 2PC Ghost features an Nvidia Geforce GTX860M / GDDR5 2GB GPU, and the GS60 2PL Ghost features an Nvidia Geforce GTX850M / DDR3 2GB GPU. 

The GS60 Ghost Pro series runs Windows 8.1, and sports a 15.6-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) anti-glare wide viewing angle display. A fourth-generation 2.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i7-4710HQ processor (8 threads, 3.5GHz Turbo frequency, 6MB cache), powers the GS60 Ghost Pro gaming laptop. It features 16GB of 1600MHz DDR3L RAM on the top-end GS60 2PE Ghost Pro variant, and 8GB of 1600MHz DDR3L RAM in the other two. The laptop comes with a 1TB 7200RPM HDD, with the top-end variant also featuring a 128GB SSD.


Lenovo also announced its gaming laptop, the Y70 Touch, at its pre-IFA 2014 event. The laptop also comes in three variants based on the RAM and graphic processor combination. The Lenovo Y70 Touch runs Windows 8.1 64-bit OS and sports a 17.3-inch full-HD LED anti-glare multi-touch display.
